Defending Your Right to Vape in South Dakota Since 2017.

DAKOTA VAPING ASSOCIATION

The Fight Continues!

Thanks to your outreach and continued support, SD House Bill 1064 has been defeated! This radical bill would have criminalized the sale and possession of flavored vape products and resulted in drastic unintended consequences. While it is exciting our legislators are listening, the fight is far from over. The DVA still needs your help sending a loud and clear message to our state government.

Please, sign up to receive regular updates regarding your right to vape!

About Us

Established in 2017, the Dakota Vaping Association is a nonprofit 501(c)6 South Dakota trade association made up of vape shops, e-liquid manufacturers, hardware manufacturers, distributors, and the vaping community. With the support of our members and communities, we actively engage in advocacy on both the state and local level to fight against regulations that impact the vaping community and industry.

Our Mission

The Dakota Vaping Association is dedicated to public education, building community, legislative advocacy, and membership support to defend the rights of the vaping community and industry.

Every year, nearly 480,000 Americans and 1,100 South Dakotans die from tobacco-related illnesses. We are organized to promote the businesses that provide healthier nicotine alternatives in the form of electronic cigarettes to tobacco users throughout South Dakota.

The DVA is committed to preventing underage youth from accessing vapor products. We support effective legislation, guidelines and regulation to prevent the purchase of vapor products by minors.

The Dakota Vaping Association is a proud member of the Vapor Technology Association.
